During the filming of ‘Country Strong’, Gwyneth Paltrow and Faith Hill became good friends as Faith became a role model for Gwyneth in her pursuits to become a Country Music singer.
“As I prepared for this movie, I looked at all of Faith’s DVDs and videos and her performances and because we have a similar look I felt that if I did a hybrid of Faith and Courtney Love, that would be who I am like in this movie.
Gwyneth talked about how supportive Faith was during that time and how she was always there to answer the many questions she had about the business, “Faith was like an encyclopedia for me”
“As you think about this character in the movie, it’s easy to see that the character could have been Faith, but took a turn in the wrong direction.
Country Music fans can look forward to ‘Country Strong’ which opens in Nashville and Los Angeles on December 22nd, and nationwide January 7th.
